Vintage Bee Plug

Entomology (the study of insects) has fascinated and occupied mankind for thousands of years. Especially in mythology, animals and species were studied that were of immediate importance to humans – including the bee, which in ancient Greece was called the messenger of the gods and the “bird of the muse”.

People always perceived the honeybee as the crowning glory of creation and its buzzing as a song of praise to nature. According to Greek mythology, Zeus, the father of the gods, was provided with honey and milk in his childhood, which is why he is also known as the “king of the bees”. For the people, honey was a source of wisdom, eloquence and poetry. It was considered both a remedy and a beauty agent.

This plug is made of high-quality processed and lightweight PMMA plastic. We have decorated the front with various great motifs and coated it with epoxy resin.

The edges nestle comfortably around the earlobe and guarantee a perfect fit.

The plugs are not autoclavable, but due to their skin-friendly material they are also suitable for allergy sufferers.
